Leap Motion x Javascript

Recap of some drawing experiments that are made of HTML5 Canvas in late 2013, one of each has its own interactivity.
Play them with Leap Motion Hardware Sensor. Through a wave of a hand, we'll use our screen in a new way for interaction design. Keeping up with latest technologies in digital creative sphere, its' the HTML5 Canvas implementations with Leap Motion featuring its JavaScript API. Leap Motion Device is a hardware sensor providing hand gestures capture possibilities.

I created several separate interacrive graphics based on HTML5 Canvas API. One of each can be interacted with diverse finger gestures and each one has its functionalities. Put this sensor alongside keyboard, then plug it into the USB hub to get everything started. As technical learning experiments, I had tried the graphics drawing, physics algorithms, velocities and collisions of objects on the screen. After those hands-on explorings, I comprehended the possibilities and limits of the Leap Motion device, as well as foreseeing lots of potentials in hand moves. The result of the experiments is extensive.

Just being inspired on hardware-driven interactive creativity. In November 2013, I spent a few days to go through the Leap Motion sensor that provides a truly immersive experience. The little toy begins with our hands, then simply interact over the tiny body of the machine, and naturally move the hands. Then we can reach into the world beyond the screen through the thinness of Air.
